Sunday, August 7th, 11-1, Intro to Yoga at Willow Glen Yoga. This class will introduce the fundamentals of yoga in a nurturing, safe environment. Yoga is a vast collection of spiritual techniques and practices aimed at integrating mind, body and spirit to achieve a state of enlightenment or oneness with the universe. Different paths of yoga emphasize different approaches and techniques, but ultimately lead to the same goal of unification and enlightenment. Learn popular yoga poses, proper alignment, and breathing techniques for individual experience and observable results. Discover how yoga is a practice of personal inquiry and exploration. Absolute beginners Welcome!
Coming in September at Willow Glen Yoga: Mondays, 10-11:15, Vinyasa for All. Incorporating principles from Yoga for All, and my own Full-Bodied Yoga series, this class is perfect for beginners, those who are building strength and flexibility, and those who could use more ideas on how to bring modifications and props into their practice to find their optimal expression of the pose. No experience necessary!
And…Thursday mornings, also beginning in September, 6:30-7:30 am, join me for an invigorating Vinyasa flow which will start your day off feeling limber, centered, strong, and gosh, like you accomplished something big before your day even started…and carry those good feelings into your weekend. This class is for all levels. If you are a beginner, don’t worry, we’ll get you caught up.
